Vacancy:

Hoping to partner and work with a motivated Tourism Business Specialist in Tajikistan.

 

Location: Dushanbe

Salary: High, Competitive, plus seasonal bonus

Duration: 12 months (possibility of extension and staff contract offer)

Contract type: Non-staff, Temporary, Consultancy

 

Responsibilities:

 

Regularly meet with owners of hotels, travel agencies and tour operators in assigned region;

 

Continuously develop and improve business quality and efficiency with hotels, travel agencies and tour operators in assigned area;

 

Continuously monitor competitors, work with hotels, tour operators and tour agencies and advise on allotment, availability and supply of services;

 

Keep supplier contact details updated and manage communications with them in the assigned area;

 

Pass information between tourists, hotels, tour operators and tour agencies timely and ensure no delays in provision of services is observed, including that on cancellations, provision of reviews, bookings, complaints, etc;

 

Train personnel of hotels, tour operators and tour agencies on how to use soft system;

 

Update information on hotels, travel agencies and tour operators and their products in assigned applications;

 

Create commercial offers, promotions, events and products with owners of hotels, tour operators and tour agencies in the assigned area;

 

Prepare and conclude for signature agreements with suppliers;

 

Ensure all bills are paid and payments collected in your area of responsibility; 

 

Prepare and readily provide tourism related data upon request and contribute to strategic planning and budgeting;

 

Meet and greet clients and partners upon need and ensure all questions, concerns are addressed timely in your area of responsibility.

Strong analytical skills

Web/social media savvy

An eye for detail

Can work independently

Excellent communication skills

Excellent English and Russian language written and oral skills (both is an asset)

Excellent Tajik skills

Able to travel 70% of time

 

Education: any of, including, but not limited to Tourism, Business, Journalism, Marketing 

 

Experience: any of, including, but not limited to Tourism, Business, Journalism, Sales representative, Accountancy/Finance (for profit), Marketing
